{"id":7061,"date":"2018-03-05T18:00:39","date_gmt":"2018-03-05T17:00:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pestofresco.eu\/for-friends-of-pesto-and-liguria\/"},"modified":"2018-03-05T18:00:39","modified_gmt":"2018-03-05T17:00:39","slug":"for-friends-of-pesto-and-liguria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pestofresco.eu\/en\/for-friends-of-pesto-and-liguria\/","title":{"rendered":"For friends of pesto and Liguria"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We welcome you, dear <strong>Friends of Pesto and Liguria<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In this new space each week we will tell you <strong>pesto-flavored stories and other Ligurias<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em>This project was born out of the<strong>love <\/strong><\/em><strong><em>for our territory<\/em><\/strong><em> and its <strong>ancient tradition<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Like so many of our fellow countrymen, <strong>we love to see big<\/strong>, always with a pair of binoculars at hand to <strong>peer beyond<\/strong>, so <strong>in 2011<\/strong> we decided to put our treasure, that is, <strong>our experience and ligurity<\/strong>, to good use and open <strong>our own workshop<\/strong> for the production of the typical Ligurian basil-based sauce: <strong>pesto alla Genovese<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em>It took us months to find the <strong>right<\/strong> <strong>venue<\/strong> and the <strong>right suppliers<\/strong> to ensure that our pesto is made with <strong>the best<\/strong> <strong>raw<\/strong> <strong>materials<\/strong>, selected with great care, and that <strong>pesto<\/strong> connoisseurs receive a sauce <strong>of the highest quality<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In the beginning we had more modest means, so our work was more strenuous. When the workshop was closed, we would travel far and wide to propose our product and have it tested. <\/p>\n<p>Over time <strong>our constant efforts<\/strong> have been rewarded. Today <strong>our pesto is in demand even outside the Ligurian and national borders <\/strong>, and customers search for us on the web and social media. Tourists who discover us during the vacations by coming to the laboratory, want to have our pesto even when they return home, both in Italy and abroad.  <\/p>\n<p><em>That is why we decided to invest in the web and today <strong>we inaugurate the new <\/strong><\/em><strong><em>site with ecommerce<\/em><\/strong><em style=\"font-weight: 300;\">, where you have the opportunity to <strong>buy our pesto directly<\/strong> and receive it in <strong>the comfort of your home<\/strong>. <\/em> <\/p>\n<p><em>And then we included this <strong>blog<\/strong>, where you can read, see and comment on <\/em><strong><em>stories, recipes, experiences, events and &#8230;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em> <\/em><\/strong>In parallel, we have started the social project on <strong>Facebook and Instagram<\/strong>, so you can <strong>follow us and get to know us even better<\/strong> and where we invite you from now on to interact with us <strong>to exchange opinions, insights, ideas and tastes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>They are open-ended projects that are born and grow in a <strong>continuous evolution<\/strong> and over time take even different forms, but always holding true to our fundamental principle: <strong>to transmit our ligurity through a product of the highest quality.<\/strong> Always for you. <\/p>\n<p>Enzo and Angelo<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We welcome you, dear Friends of Pesto and Liguria.
