Lovers of Pesto Genovese, Pesto Fresco<\/strong> and typical Ligurian cuisine<\/strong>, if you are not fully familiar with the Liguria Gourmet<\/strong> project, read our news: we explain what it consists of!<\/p>\n Liguria Gourmet is the geographical collective brand (mcg) for Ligurian catering <\/strong>designed, registered and guaranteed by the Liguria Region<\/strong> and the Ligurian Chamber System<\/strong>, aimed at the enhancement and protection of the excellence and typicality of local gastronomy<\/strong>, certifying the “True Liguria on the Plate.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Liguria Gourmet mark is issued by the relevant Chamber of Commerce<\/strong> to restaurants that undertake to apply the provisions of the Regulations of Use<\/strong>. Restaurants in the Liguria Gourmet circuit enhance their recipes through the use of products listed in theRegional<\/strong>Atlasof Traditional Products. Liguria Gourmet restaurants offer a typical regional menu<\/strong> daily, specially designed with traditional Ligurian dishes<\/strong>.What is Liguria Gourmet<\/h3>\n
\nThese Regulations guarantee the origin and quality of dishes<\/strong> made according to the recipes of the ancient Ligurian tradition and prepared with the certified products of the area<\/strong>.<\/p>\nLiguria Gourmet is a project with several goals:<\/h3>\n

The Restaurants of the Liguria Gourmet circuit<\/h3>\n
\n<\/strong>This is updated annually by the Ministry of Agricultural Policy.<\/strong>
\nThey also undertake to use a rich variety consisting of more than 300 products selected by the Technical Project Committee.
\n<\/strong>These products include local meats, condiments, cheeses, vegetable products, fresh pasta and bakery products, biscuits, seafood products, liquors and more.
\nLigurian PDO and PGI wines<\/strong> are also included, guaranteeing at least 4 labels, chosen from those listed<\/strong> in the regional PDO-PGI wine list.<\/strong>
\nThey useDOP “Riviera Ligure” extra virgin olive<\/strong> oil as a dressing and, as for our beloved Pesto Genovese<\/strong>, they use exclusively DOP Genovese Basil<\/strong>, faithfully respecting the traditional recipe<\/strong>.<\/p>\nLiguria Gourmet and traditional products<\/h3>\n
\nThe menu includes at<\/strong> least four typical Ligurian specialties<\/strong>, including at least one first course and one second course, from among those on the list of traditional dishes identified by the Technical Committee.
\nThe complete list of dishes<\/strong> consists of Ligurian specialties among more than 25 appetizers, more than 45 entrees and condiments, more than 50 main courses, about 20 side dishes, and 30 desserts.<\/strong><\/p>\n
