Friends of Pesto Fresco, this is a special week for us.
As you may have noticed, last week we posted on Facebook and Instagram the news about us, namely that we were selected by “Pesto d’Amare” among “The Magnificent 7” artisanal pesto workshops in the province of Savona. It is a source of great satisfaction for us.

Finalpia from July 9 for the entire week was transformed into the Pesto District , thanks to the “PESTO D’AMARE” festival, which this year comes with great novelties, first and foremost theextension of the selection of the best pesto producers to the entire province of Savona, made possible by the valuable collaboration of the two Slow Food“Condotte”, the one from Finale, Albenga and Alassio and the one from Savona.
Pesto is king of this festival with a dedicated menu consisting of tasty appetizers, handmade pasta dishes, including the delicious “mandilli” with their characteristic handkerchief shape, and other proposals that will combine Ligurian tradition with the chefs’ creativity.
Desserts will also be made using basil, pine nuts and Riviera Ligure PDO EVO oil.
