From November 19 to 25, during Italian Cuisine Week around the world, with a pesto pasta dish help Genoa and Liguria!

Friends, once again Pesto Genovese is at the center.
This time it is being used to help Genoa and its children who were somehow affected by the tragedy that saw the collapse of the Morandi Bridge last August 14.

What is Pasta Pesto Day?

Pasta Pesto Day is a great solidarity event that many restaurants have joined, not only in Liguria, but also in the rest of Italy and around the world.
As part of the “Week of Italian Cuisine in the World” from November 19 to 25, Pesto will be the star of Pasta Pesto Day.

Why Pesto?

Pesto Genovese is among the most widely used pasta sauces in the world, nominated as aUNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Genoa and Liguria are represented by Pesto Genovese and its unmistakable flavor.

Do you know how to participate in Pasta Pesto Day?

If you too would like to contribute to the great Pasta Pesto Day solidarity initiative, all you have to do is go to a participating restaurant and choose a pesto pasta dish.
A portion of the proceeds will go to the City of Genoa, which will dispose of them in favor of those most in need following the tragedy in the city of Genoa.
In participating restaurants, per pesto pasta dish sold, 1€ will be donated by the restaurateur and 1€ will be donated by the customer.
