Today, April 25, Diano Marina saw the opening of “Aromatica – Scents and Flavors of the Ligurian Riviera,” an exhibition dedicated to basil, aromatic herbs, typical products and excellence in Ligurian food and wine.
“Aromatica” in Diano Marina: what it involves.
More than 50 stands of Ligurian producers and traders, mainly in the area of herbs, and numerous side events. So dinners, show cooking, workshops, presentations, producer stands, street food, lectures, conferences, book presentations, themed menus in restaurants and much more. For four days, from Thursday, April 25 to Sunday, April 28, they will enliven the Dianese Gulf, especially the beautiful pedestrian center of Diano Marina.
A great quality event that aims to enhance our typical products and promote the territory, according to the principles of the Mediterranean Diet.
Each street in Diano Marina is dedicated to a particular herb, and each store has decorated the entrance to its business with a special themed window competition.
During the 6th edition of “Aromatica,” the exciting selection stage of the world mortar pesto championship will also take place.
The competition is open to all and will allow the winner to qualify by right for the grand challenge that will take place next year at the Palazzo Ducale in Genoa.
“Aromatic” OFF
Numerous are the initiatives of the“Aromatica” OFF throughout the Dianese Gulf: guided tours to discover the most characteristic villages and the hinterland, hikes and walks.
An opportunity to visit beautiful places, tasting and buying our appetizing typical Ligurian products, in a hospitable and multicolored setting, which will be able to offer visitors originality and fun.
The four-day Ligurian typicality event is sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture Food and Forestry, Liguria Region (Departments of Agriculture and Economic Development), Province of Imperia, Prefecture of Imperia and Riviere di Liguria Chamber of Commerce Imperia La Spezia Savona.
