Friends of Pesto Fresco,Yesterday, May 17, 2019, Genova Liguria Film Commission, at the Italian Pavilion of the Cannes Film Festival, presented its event dedicated to the promotion of Liguria and Ligurian products . The Ligurian foundation focused on the call for audiovisuals, its locations and its artisanal and food and wine products.

In fact, the end of the event was followed by a tasting by the Department of Agriculture of the Liguria Region and the Assaggia La Liguria Consortium (Basil Consortium, Olive Oil Consortium and Enoteca Regionale della Liguria).
Liguria, its typical products, its loction are promoted at the Cannes Film Festival
During the event organized by GLFC, in the presence of its president Cristina Bolla, the teaser of the TV series “In viaggio con la figlia” directed by Giorgio Molteni, produced by Confartigianato Liguria and Genova Liguria Film Commission with the contribution of Regione Liguria, was presented.
In the room were director Giorgio Molteni, screenwriter Raffaella Verga and actors Cristiana Manzi Dell’Aira and Renzo Sinacori.
During the presentation, GLFC director Andrea Rocco spoke about the Call for Support for Companies and Audiovisual Projects Filmed in Liguria, which will be open from May 30 to June 28.
There was also talk about the Digital Fiction Festival, which GLFC will organize as part of the calendar of events dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Ligurian foundation.
The Digital Fiction Festival will be organized in Finale Ligure from August 1 to 4 at Castel Franco and will be presented during the press conference.

The space dedicated to tasting, organized by the Liguria Region Department of Agriculture and the Assaggia La Liguria Consortium, was a great success among the audience composed of directors, actors, journalists, bloggers and screenwriters.
With its magnificent wines, olive pate and, of course, Genoese pesto, Liguria has bewitched even Cannes.
