Dear friends of Pesto Fresco and our Frasca e Nassa Artisan Laboratory in Loano (Savona), today we want to tell you about the RegionalEnoteca of Liguria.
It was created with the aim of enhancing the tradition, culture and productions that make the territory of Liguria unique.
The Regional Wine Shop of Liguria thus promotes Ligurian regional wines, especially those of Denomination of Origin and those obtained from organic and integrated farming methods, and other typical products of our beloved region.
The locations of the Regional Enoteca of Liguria are distributed throughout the territory: in Ortovero (Savona), Dolceacqua (Imperia), Genoa and Castelnuovo Magra (La Spezia).

The activity of the Regional Wine Shop is particularly focused on organizing educational and enograstronomic events, with tastings of local wines.
The closest Regional Wine Shop to Loano is the one in the beautiful area of Ortovero, in the Arroscia Valley, characterized by large areas of vineyards, numerous wineries and the largest wine cooperative in the region.
The venue is housed in the old Fruit and Vegetable Market, redeveloped through an ad hoc project.
The building has ample parking space and is spread over two floors, with a basement floor dedicated to the wine shop. The upper floor is used exclusively as meeting space.
The Liguria Regional Wine Shop enhances and promotes regional food and wine excellence. Here you can taste and buy local products and wines.
In recent years, wine culture has developed exponentially, and Liguria, without being presumptuous, boasts the production of excellent wines, in addition to other typical products, such as Pesto Genovese, Salsa di Noci, and many others renowned throughout the world.
With the opening of the Enoteca Regionale della Liguria, tourism has also increased in the Ligurian hinterland, succeeding in the aim of enhancing and promoting regional food and wine excellence.
At the Regional Enoteca in Ortovero, it is possible to taste and buy typical products and excellent local wines from our Ligurian territory, more specifically from the Savona and Imperia areas, such as the Doc Riviera ligure di Ponente, the Doc Ormeasco di Pornassio and the Doc Quiliano.

On Feb. 28 and March 1, it will be the turn of chef Gian Piero Vivalda of the Antica Corona Reale restaurant in Cervere, with a menu that straddles Piedmont and Liguria, paired with their best-loved wines: Pigato, Rossese di Dolceacqua and Granaccia.
